This is an IMPORTANT NOTICE from SimplePC!
Effective Monday, December 15th, 2008, SimplePC will finalize its implementation of e-mail services through a partnership established with Google earlier this year.
On Monday, SimplePC e-mail users will access e-mail via the web by browsing to http://portal.simplepc.net. Please bookmark this site; access to e-mail from this page will not work until Monday!
If your e-mail address ends in @emeraldis.com, @hspower.com, @greenwoodemail.com, or other SimplePC-provided domains, your e-mail address IS ALSO
Telephone support is provided, but due to the number of calls, expect a long wait. All e-mail services are working normally and logging into your account does not require support.
You will need to activate your account at http://portal.simplepc.net before using it. When you first login, enter the test displayed on the image and click the "I accept. Create my account." button. You will use the first part of your email address as your username and the same password you have been using to login with. If your password was less than 6 characters, we have added enough exclamation points to make it 6 characters long. Click the email link on the right side to access your email.
For example, if your password was 1234, it will now be 1234!!
You can access your email from http://portal.simplepc.net
If you desire to use Outlook Express or another email client, please perform the following steps:
- First, you need to enable POP3 settings in Gmail - http://www.simplepc.com/2005/technical_support/pop3-settings.html
- Then, Configure Outlook Express - http://www.simplepc.com/2005/technical_support/configure-oe.html
This form, when submitted, will initiate a call from a SimplePC representative to help resolve your issue with accessing the webmail system.
