Enabling POP3 Settings in Gmail

Use this article to enable POP3 settings withing before configuring an email client
Prerequisites
- simplepc.net email address must be activated.
- Login to portal.simplepc.net
Content
- If you are not already on the Gmail screen, click email on the right side of the page.
- From the Gmail homepage, click Settings in the top right corner.
- On the Settings page, click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
- In the section labeled POP download, click the radio button next to Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on. note: Every time you choose to Enable POP and click Save Changes, you will receive all mail including previously read, sent and downloaded messages in your email client.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to “When messages are accessed with POP …”
- Click and choose one fo the following for the webmail copy of email.
- Keep SimplePC’s copy in the Inbox.
- Archive SimplePC’s copy.
- Delete SimplePC’s copy.
note: Keeping or Archiving a copy of emails in Gmail is a good idea if you need to access Read messages from another PC.
- Click Save Changes.
- Configure your email client.
